About :

Our Conservatory was established on 16.03.1991, and in 1993, the Department of Performing Arts Department of Theater and Turkish Music Departments started education activities. Our conservatory has been serving in the building of Selcuk University Dilek Sabanci Conservatory since the 2007-2008 academic year and the name of our conservatory has been established since 25.03.2008. was changed to Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory. Opened in 2007 under the name of the Department of Music, the Department of Stringed Instruments and the Department of Piano-Guitar were opened and after the completion of the academic structure, students will be admitted to these branches.

The interdisciplinary communication between the Department of Music's vision, education, performance and researches, which provides an innovative and holistic perspective between the practice and theory that contributes to the universal art and knowledge production that opens up new horizons that are respected and preferred at national and international level, educates open artists, educators and academicians. and to be a program that develops cooperation.



Mission :

the Music Department on-site instrument training programs in areas related to improving national and international cooperation primarily the quality of educating professional artists and educators who need Turkey and curriculum national and international artists, groups, is pushing ahead even with the contribution of communities and researchers.



Purpose :

instruments giving academic training in the area of the Music Department in these areas primarily within the jurisdiction of Turkey and international artists, is to train educators and academics.

Definition of Program :

The aim of the instrument education programs within the Department of Music is to provide the future national / international artists, educators and academicians with an intellectual accumulation and physical equipment within the framework of the ethical rules of the profession and contemporary methods.



Admission and Registration Requirements :

The conditions are determined within the framework of the instructions for the special talent exam and the Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory Education and Training Regulations.



Recognition of Previous Education :

Depending on the relevant regulations and decisions of the board, students' prior learning courses may be recognized as exemption or equivalent.



Graduation Requirements :

In order for a student to graduate from the undergraduate program in which he / she is enrolled, he / she must have taken and succeeded in all courses in the program and the graduation weighted grade point average must be at least 2.00.



Assessment and Evaluation Regulations :

The courses in the program are evaluated and assessed by mid-term exams such as mid-term, final and make-up in accordance with the relevant regulation principles within the framework of the evaluation criteria of each course.



Employment Oppurtunities :

Graduates of this program may be employed in orchestral institutions, universities and various arts and educational institutions within the national and international framework for their purposes and studies.



Access to Further Studies :

Upon successful completion of the undergraduate program of the Department of Music, students can take graduate education in national and international framework in line with their aims and studies.
