Our Conservatory was established on 16.03.1991, and in 1993, the Department of Performing Arts Department of Theater and Turkish Music Departments started education activities. Our conservatory has been serving in the building of Selcuk University Dilek Sabanci Conservatory since the 2007-2008 academic year and the name of our conservatory has been established since 25.03.2008. was changed to Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory. Opened in 2007 under the name of the Department of Music, the Department of Stringed Instruments and the Department of Piano-Guitar were opened and after the completion of the academic structure, students will be admitted to these branches.

The aim of the instrument education programs within the Department of Music is to provide the future national / international artists, educators and academicians with an intellectual accumulation and physical equipment within the framework of the ethical rules of the profession and contemporary methods.
The conditions are determined within the framework of the instructions for the special talent exam and the Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory Education and Training Regulations.
Depending on the relevant regulations and decisions of the board, students' prior learning courses may be recognized as exemption or equivalent.
In order for a student to graduate from the undergraduate program in which he / she is enrolled, he / she must have taken and succeeded in all courses in the program and the graduation weighted grade point average must be at least 2.00.
The courses in the program are evaluated and assessed by mid-term exams such as mid-term, final and make-up in accordance with the relevant regulation principles within the framework of the evaluation criteria of each course.
Graduates of this program may be employed in orchestral institutions, universities and various arts and educational institutions within the national and international framework for their purposes and studies.
Upon successful completion of the undergraduate program of the Department of Music, students can take graduate education in national and international framework in line with their aims and studies.
