The Actuarial Department of Selçuk University established in 2013 within the Faculty of Science in order to use of Actuarial Science which is lacking in education for the needs of developing industry and technology of Konya province, the growing market capacity and the research and development of increasing holding companies. academicians for the formation of theoretical infrastructures and sector representatives for sector applications are actively participate in the process of education of department students. The students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have acquired during the education period with the project studies they will make in the last period.

Our mission is to educate qualified actuaries with universal values, to use the knowledge and skills they have acquired effectively for the benefit of the society in every field and to enable them to take pioneering roles in planning the future of the country and in determining economic and social goals.
General acceptance requirements are valid for turkish and foreign students for ing the programme. Students that are placed in this programme by ÖSYM are entitled to enroll in the program.
Students that absolutely enrolled in any other university both in Turkey or foreign country in the case that when they apply within first week,by evaluating the students crediate and notes transfer requests by Board of Directorsof faculty, decisions are made for students.
Student must be successful in all courses which are located 8 period in programme and must collect at least 240 ECTS credits, for students are eligible to receive a bachelors degree.General note average must be at least 2.00 over for 4.00 to be eligible to receive a bachelors degree.
The principles of measurement and evaluation are clearly defined in the teaching plan.
Undergraduate students can apply to master and doctora programmes in their interested areas.
