Program Description: Computer Programming is a program that covers the fields of computer usage, software development, database, web, graphic applications, hardware, maintenance, repair and installation and management of computer networks. The students in the Computer Programming program are trained as having sufficient knowledge in all areas of computer science, equipped with a high degree of application skills, and capable of continuously improving itself in line with technological developments. At the end of each academic year, students are given 6-week Industry Based Education (EDE). In the program, which gives approximately 30 ECTS credits in each semester, students earn 120 ECTS credits when they complete the courses.

Recognition of Prior Learning: Students studying in the Computer Programming program may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content and credit of the course taken in another institution is in line with the content of the course given in this program and approved by the School Directorate, the student may be exempted from this course.
Graduation Requirements: In order to graduate from the associate degree program in Computer Programming, students must be successful in all the compulsory and elective courses (total 120 ECTS) and have completed the compulsory internship (Industry Based Education-EDE) at the end of both academic years as 30 working days. is required. The students study in this program for 2 years (4 semesters).
Assessment and Evaluation Principles: In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and to take the final exam, at least 70% of the courses and 80% of the applications must be continued. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of midterm exam (homework, laboratory exam, quiz, etc.) to the success grade is 40% and the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Students who get one of the AA, BA, BB, CB and CC letter grades from a course are considered successful in that course. DC and DD are conditional successful grades. In order to be successful in a course in which the student receives DC or DD, the overall weighted grade point average must be at least 2.0.
Employment Opportunities: Graduates of Computer Programming can work in information centers of public or private institutions, sales and support units of information markets, all kinds of technical services related to information technologies and R & D centers. They are employed in the fields of visual programming, web design, system design, installation, maintenance and repair, computer networks as "Computer Technician" or "Computer Programmer".

Computer Programming Programme is a programme covering the fields about computer usage, developing software, database, web, graphics applications, hardware, maintenance, repair, installment and management of the computer networks. The students in the Computer Programming programme are raised as individuals having the sufficient information about every field of computing, being equipped with the high ability to apply their knowledge and developing themselves continuously in accordance with the technological developments. In our department, education is given in two different ways as Day Course and Night Course. Computer Programming Programme that is a two-year programme consists of 4 semesters. At the end of each year, six-week industry-based education (IBE) is given. In the programme that gives 30 ECTS credits in each semester, the students gain 120 ECTS credits when they finish the courses.

The students studying in the programme of Computer Programming can be exempt from some courses in the frame of particular regulations. The student can be exempt in the situation where the content and credit of the course received in another institution are appropriate for the content and credit of the course given in this programme and when this is approved by Higher School Management.

The Computer Programming graduates can work public or private data-processing centers, in the sale and support units of information markets, in the technical services belonging to information technologies and in the research and development centers. They can be employed as a ?Computer Technician? or a ?Computer Programmer? in the field related to web design, system design, installation, maintenance and repair and computer networks.
