Selçuk University Department of Economics started education as a normal education in 1987 under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In 1992, the department continued its education with secondary education. The academic structure of the department of economics consists of 4 (four) departments: Economic Theory, Economic History, Economic Policy and Economic Development and International Economics. Within the academic structure of the department, 9 professors, 6 associate professors, 2 doctor lecturers, 5 research assistants and 2 lecturers, a total of 24 lecturers and staff are employed. In the Department of Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, History of Economic Thought, Economic Growth, Economy of Turkey as several economics courses as well as business, finance, law, belonging to other disciplines such as statistics courses are also available.
