The aim of the PhD program is to educate healthcare management doctor who has reached a professional level in health institutions management, can bring innovation to the health sector, develops itself scientifically and contributes to science, by providing health management education in the light of contemporary and universal values, is to educate the lecturer who will educate the graduating students.
Ph.D. Program in Health Management consists of theoretical approaches and practical skills to specialize in Health Management education.
Health Management Ph.D. program will be required to be a bachelor's or master's degree in health management, health administration, management of health institutions, and management of health institutions. In addition, students who have completed their undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of business administration, economics, public administration, international relations and nursing may be admitted to the program upon the approval of the Department of Health Management and subject to the scientific preparation program. Selcuk University Graduate Education Regulations are applied in the acceptance of students. Equal weight (EA), ALES score of students will be considered.
Students who are accepted by transfer are exempted from the courses they have taken and succeeded by the Board of Directors of the Institute of Health Sciences under the conditions stipulated by the Department of Health Management.
In the PhD program of Healthcare Management, students must complete at least 240 ECTS with at least 7 courses with minimum 21 credits, specialization courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis work.
Assessment and evaluation methods for each course are determined by Selçuk University Graduate Regulations and related institutes.
Graduates can be employed as lecturers in higher education institutions and as managers in health institutions.
There is no upper degree program after doctorate education.
