HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL AND GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FACULTY: Konya School of Health has started education with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 10.10.1996 and numbered 96/8655. However, this school was closed in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law numbered 2809 and became the Faculty of Health Sciences on 05.02.2010. There are currently 6 departments in our faculty, midwifery and nursing 1997, Social Services Department 2006, Health Management Department in 2009, Nutrition and Dietetics Department in 2012 and Child Development Department in 2013 began to accept students. Currently, 621 in Health Management Department (N.Ö-324 and İ.Ö. 297), 369 in Social Work Department, 417 in Midwifery Department, 806 in Nursing Department, Child Development Department (N.Ö.-287, İ.Ö. 214) 501 students, Nutrition and Dietetics, 282 and 108 students in special status, a total of 3152 students are studying. Our faculty has 25 classrooms, 1 laboratory, 1 seminar hall, 1 meeting hall, 8000 m2 closed area consisting of cafeteria instructors and administrative departments. In the faculty of the Faculty of Nursing and Social Work in the Department of Master's Degree, Family Counseling Master's Degree in Non-Thesis is done.
