About :
Department of Graphics, contemporary education program prepared by; With the help of theoretical and practical courses, which improve conceptual problem solving skills, students are able to use contemporary design tools in the design and production process. Students learn the whole process from conceptual design to printed materials. Thanks to the close relationship it has established with the market, the Department of Graphic Design provides students with the opportunity to face real design problems and to create institutional supported projects that can be transferred to life. Students are encouraged and encouraged to participate in national and international education, seminars, symposiums, workshops and competitions.

Purpose :
The Department of Graphic Design aims to educate graphic designer and artist candidate students as researchers who are creative, cultured and develop aesthetic values ​​of society through art and graphic design.

Language of Program :
Program language is Turkish.

Definition of Program :
This program consists of at least eight courses, a seminar, a specialization course and a thesis study (the thesis study also includes the application case studies of the student), provided that it is not less than 24 credits. A student can take a maximum of fifteen credits in one semester.

Up to two of the courses that the student will take can be selected from undergraduate courses provided that they are not taken during undergraduate education. In addition, courses may be selected from courses offered in other programs in the University or in higher education institutions outside the University upon the recommendation of the relevant EABD board and the decision of the board of directors of the institute. However, the total credit value of undergraduate courses, courses taken from different programs and other higher education institutions cannot exceed nine.

Admission and Registration Requirements :
Students who have graduated from Graphic, Visual Communication Design and Graphic Design Departments of the Faculties of Fine Arts of Universities can apply to this program. Among the applicants, the candidates who meet the exam requirements announced by the department and who succeeded as a result of the science exam and portfolio evaluation conducted by the department can register within the announced quota.

Recognition of Previous Education :
Turkey and in foreign countries in higher education institutions, Selcuk University for students who want to transfer to the Social Sciences Institute of the Department of Higher Education Institutions in the Graduate Level Between Programs in Transition, Double Major, Minor and inter-institutional Transfer of Credit of the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles apply.

Graduation Requirements :

For higher education courses and seminars in Turkey and foreign countries, 60 ECTS and specialization field courses and other activities, along with thesis for can graduate students providing at least 120 ECTS credits, totaling 60 ECTS.

Assessment and Evaluation Regulations :
Selcuk University Faculty of Fine Arts Education and Examination Regulations are based on the conditions specified in the assessment and evaluation.

Employment Oppurtunities :
Graduated students can work as a designer in private and legal institutions, agencies, agencies, obtain the right to teach in institutions and organizations affiliated to the Ministry of National Education by obtaining a training formation certificate, as well as having an academic career in higher education institutions in scientific and artistic fields.

Access to Further Studies :

Students who successfully complete the Master's program can apply to the Proficiency in Art and PhD programs to study.
