In 2012, the Occupational Health and Safety Program was opened under the Department of Property Protection and Security with the decision of the Council of Higher Education. Within the scope of this program, 2015-2016 academic year by completing the sufficient academic staff in the academic year of 20 students with the quota of education and education started with the quota of 2018-2019 academic year 40 students are actively continuing with the quota.

Our program will reduce the health risks in the workplaces, establish a healthy and safe working environment, raise the awareness of the personnel about work and occupational diseases, and provide the necessary manpower for the prevention of work accidents. In our department, Normal Training is given. Occupational Health and Safety Program, which is a two-year program, consists of 4 semesters. There is also a 30-day compulsory internship period.
Student Selection and Placement Center organized by the selection and placement results are based on. The first enrollment of the students admitted to the program is made by the Registrar's Office and the days determined by the Rector's Office. Students who are accepted to the University must fulfill the following requirements in order to make their registration final. a) to submit a diploma or official certificate indicating that he / she has graduated from a high school or equivalent school, b) Not to be disabled due to health status and military duty or similar aspects. In order to graduate from the Associate Degree in the Department of Property Protection and Security, students must be successful in all of the compulsory and elective courses (120 ECTS in total) and have completed 30 business days of compulsory internship at the end of the first academic year. Students take 2 years (4 semesters) education in this program.
