DOUBLE MAJOR PROGRAM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
If you want to have a second diploma with the major you are studying,
If you are at the beginning of the 3rd and the 5th semester at the earliest,
If your GPA is at least 3.00,
If you do not have a failed course and success in your class
If you are in the top 20%,

APPLICATION, ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION TO DOUBLE MAJOR PROGRAM
APPLICATION
1. Students have a petition, transcript documents, failed courses from previous semesters and reputation of success ranking in class
The student will apply to the dean's office with the relevant double major program with a document from the student affairs. (Students may apply to more than one double major program. No fee will be charged during the application and no additional fees for double major program education.)
2. The department / department board where the double major program is located will evaluate the status of the students applying to the double major program and announce the students accepted to the double major program with the number of quota and appropriate number of substitute students.
3. The students who are accepted to the program come together with the advisors in the major program and the double-major program coordinator, decide on the courses of at least 60 ECTS credits and internship and similar applications to be taken from the courses offered in the double-major program and a double-major registration protocol is signed. (Students cannot be exempted from some of the total credits they will complete in the double major program because of the common courses in the major and double major programs.) The protocol form is signed by the student's major and double major department heads. (The courses in the protocol form can be changed with the approval of all those who have signed the protocol form, if necessary.) Admission of students to the double major program is finalized by the decision of the administrative board of the related faculty.
4. The student completes the double major course registration form with his / her advisor in the major program and the double major program coordinator. The double major course registration form is approved by both department heads. The double major course registration forms are delivered in bulk by the double major coordinator to the faculty student affairs office where the double major program is located. In the double major program, the student's registration to the automation system is done by the student affairs. (It is necessary that students take double-major courses in the semester they do not coincide with the courses in the major program and that they should be considered while making the course registration. The course registration is repeated in the following semesters.
5. The follow-up of our students' attendance to classes is made in accordance with the 10th article of Selçuk University Education and Examination Regulations.
6. The success of our students in the double major program is determined by the provisions of Selcuk University Education and Examination Regulations, regardless of the major program. The double-weighted GPA and the double-weighted GPA are determined according to the courses taken in the double-major program. The status of the courses taken from DD and DC is determined according to the weighted grade point average of double major terms. At the end of each semester, the student is given a report card for the double major program.
